Portland prepares for May Day Joe Baron said, "a fair day's pay for a fair day's work". May Day organizer and carpenters union boss, Joe baron is trying to keep this year's May Day celebration true to its origins. Less about war and all social ills and more about real worker's rights. Marilyn Deutsch said, "what are you going to do if a splinter group causes problems? Is there anything you can do or will do? Joe Baron said, "nothing we will do. We'll let the police handle it".
