    B.C. has to wait for its 'Tax Freedom Day'
    Quebec and B.C. are the last provinces to mark the day

    British Columbians will start working for themselves on July 2, six days later than last year, according to the Fraser Institute's annual Tax Freedom Day calculations.

    B.C. shares the dubious distinction of being the last province to mark Tax Freedom Day, along with Quebec, one of the highest-taxed jurisdictions in North America.
