    Deficits threaten trade pensions Retirement benefits of B.C.'s biggest trade unions are underfunded by millions of dollars

    Five of the largest union pension plans in B.C.'s building trades are wrestling with multi-million dollar funding deficits that threaten to squeeze already meagre retirement benefits for thousands of workers.
