Former Union-Owned Insurance Head Pleads Fifth Subpoenaed to appear before the House Education and Workforce Committee, Georgine invoked his constitutional right against saying anything that prosecutors could use against him.
"Mr. Chairman, while I am confident that I have done nothing wrong, on the advice of my attorney, I respectfully decline to answer that question," Georgine said when questioning under oath began.
When asked if he would invoke his Fifth Amendment right in response to all the committee's questions, Georgine gave an affirmative, though polite, "Yes, sir."------------------------------------------- posted 5:09 AM :: reference link ::
