AmericanDaily.com - Government by Greenback - Paula Devlin Labor unions have again proven themselves Democratic Party faithfuls, with the Teamsters, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the Service Employees International Union, the Communication Workers of America, the Carpenters and Joiners Union, the UAW, the Laborers Union, the Machinist & Aerospace Workers Union, the United Food & Commercial Workers Union, the National Association of Letter Carriers and the AFL-CIO coughing up the princely sum of $181 million, with 96% going to the Democrats. I’m sure the Association of Trial Lawyers doesn’t consider itself a labor union (they donated a total of $20 million) but they had the same percentage going to the Democratic Party as the National Association of Letter Carrier (88%).------------------------------------------- posted 6:30 AM :: reference link ::
