Blaster virus infects users of Microsoft: By late Monday, 57,000 systems worldwide had been infected by the worm, according to Cupertino network security firm Symantec. The worm, dubbed Blaster, MBlast or LovSan by various virus trackers, infects computers connected to the Internet but does not require an action, such as clicking on an attachment, to be triggered. A software patch to block the security flaw is readily available from Microsoft.
