Charges dropped against 2 of 3 men accused in July pie attack on Ralph Klein By CAROL HARRINGTON
Gord Christie, head of the Calgary and District Labour Council, said the premier is lucky he hasn't been previously pied by other Albertans angry about the 'Ralph Klein agenda.'
'I'm certainly not opposed to people doing things like that in jest,' Christie said of the pie throwing.
'It's a ridiculous situation where the premier for 10 years now has been assaulting seniors, the homeless, and working people.'
The Alberta Federation of Labour has collected almost $1,000 towards its Justice For Pies fund to pay for the three men's legal fees.
