Plea deal spurned in restaurant fight By BERNIE WEISENFELD
Charles Craven, 40, of Runnemede, is charged with aggravated assault. He is accused of punching Balis during a December 2001 fight outside the Adelphia Restaurant, which Balis co-owned. Balis, 46, fell to the ground and died the next day of head injuries.

Craven, among a group of carpenters union members who were at an Adelphia party, was ordered by Superior Court Judge Walter Marshall Jr. to stand trial April 5.
