Arena project caught up in more controversy CBC News Victoria
The WCB says it was never informed about the collapse of a steel rod tower, and the telephone death threat against a foreman.
'There are requirements that deal with violence in the workplace,' says WCB spokesperson Peter Newman.
'The employer must assess the risk, put into place appropriate procedures and policies for that and also to report it to us.'
But a spokesperson for the company involved says it's done nothing wrong.
Meanwhile the business manager of the Ironworkers Union has concerns that workers will be brought in from Mexico to work on the project.
