Inco Limited fined $375,000 for health and safety violation talk-back Ontario Labour News
SUDBURY - Inco Limited, a large multinational corporation which owns Copper Cliff Nickel Refinery in Sudbury, was fined $375,000 today for a violation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act that resulted in the death of an employee.
On July 27, 2001, a shift foreman was testing a shutoff valve in an oxygen piping system at Copper Cliff Nickel Refinery, in preparation for maintenance work on the oxygen line, when an explosion occurred.------------------------------------------- posted 6:57 AM :: reference link ::
