    Utah Carpenters Union Trust Fund Will Receive $1 Million in Labor Settlement By Mike Gorrell, The Salt Lake Tribune
    Labor Department officials had filed lawsuits against the Utah union fund and 11 other pension and welfare plans in Nevada and California, alleging the funds' trustees violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act by "improperly authorizing plan assets to be invested in a series of risky private placement investments managed by Capital Consultants LLC."
