Worker struggles to prove Flats ties By Ann Imse, Rocky Mountain News
Rocky Flats has routinely destroyed records that subcontractors sickened by their jobs at the former nuclear weapons plant need to qualify for government aid.
People who worked at Rocky Flats and other atomic bomb facilities and have developed cancer and other illnesses may apply for $150,000 and/or weekly workers compensation payments if they can prove the sickness was caused by radiation or other toxic substances encountered on the job.
