No Laughing Matter: Bush and the Lost WMD BY W. Andrew Arnold, The Common Voice
So, the irony is that the Bush administration's execution of the war may have brought about the very thing that the war was intended to prevent. Part of my support for this war was based upon the belief that we knew where most (at least some) of the WMD were located. This belief was based upon statements from this administration that we had intelligence about the whereabouts of the WMD. The most obvious example is the March 30, 2003 statement by Sec. of Defense Rumsfeld, who said: 'We know where [the WMD] are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, north and south somewhat.'

Pa. director of Homeland Security says 'first goal to prevent' terrorism By ALLEN ORSHAL
The objective, according to Martin, is to stop the terrorism before it happens. Martin also told the crowd that anyone who fails to share information regarding terrorism, he will personally make sure he/she is escorted to the public scaffold.

Council Curtails Federal Police Powers Under Patriot Act By Vincent J. Swanson
'What great irony that the aristocrat George W. Bush gave us the Patriot Act that undermines the very nature of our democracy, the Bill of Rights.'
