    Boss sacks 900 Scots then buys £70k car By Amy Devine, dailyrecord.co.uk
    STANDARD LIFE axeman Sandy Crombie has treated himself to a new Porsche while nearly 1000 of his Scots workers face the sack.

    The chief executive of the struggling financial giant is cruising along in a gleaming red Carrera 2, worth at least £65,000.

    Crombie told staff last month that 1000 of them are to be fired to increase his company's profits.
