Veteran union leader Buzz Hargrove admits that even he's been surprised.
After several years of relatively peaceful labour relations in Canada, organized workers - many of them members of Hargrove's expansionist Canadian Autoworkers Union - have either gone on strike or engaged in bitter negotiations with their employers.
