    Workers sent payments from former employer By Tamara Grippi, Tri-Valley Herald, CA
    The mood was jubilant last week at the union hall of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 595.

    Eight former employees of LIS Electric Inc. in San Francisco, including several immigrant workers, received checks for back wages and unpaid pension contributions ordered more than a year ago by San Francisco Superior Court.
