Contractors blame each other for scaffold collapse WKRN, TN
The scaffolding subcontractor has blamed other workers at the apartment building construction site, saying safety features were removed without the company's knowledge.

But the main contractor said inexperienced workers for the scaffolding company were not properly disassembling the scaffolding.

The July 30th accident killed a 24-year-old supervisor and injured six others.

Priest Killed by Scaffold Collapse The St. Petersburg Times, Russia
The collapse is thought to have been caused by violations of technical safety rules, Interfax reported Friday. The agency said material that covered the scaffolding had acted like a sail in the wind gusts.
