DuPont Dow workers picket to express anger over talks By Martin C. Bricketto, The Gloucester County Times, NJ
gPENNSVILLE TWP. -- A nine-foot rat was brought out by workers from the DuPont Dow Elastomers facility Monday to express employee anger at the lack of contract negotiations.
In near 90 degree heat, 20 union representatives and workers congregated around the inflatable, plastic rodent, protesting what they called the company's constant reneging in ongoing contract and wage negotiations.
'This is the worst set of negotiations I've ever been in,' said John N. Barcellona, an international representative with PACE.
