    A construction expert says the support system, or shoring, probably is the key.

    Theories are flying but hard evidence is still lacking to explain the fatal collapse two weeks ago of a townhouse building under construction in Hobe Sound.

    Was the concrete too wet? Did construction workers move too fast? Did braces holding up walls and floors fail to withstand the weight that should have been expected?
