Union Complex WENY-TV, NY
Ground was broken Monday at Lattabrook Industrial Park to celebrate the beginning of a new union office for the Empire-State Regional Council of Carpenters. The location chosen for the building site was part of a statewide competition...the site was chosen because of its proximity to Interstate 86.
The $2 million dollar, 25,000 square foot building will be home for Local 281, as well as the Empire State Training Center for current employees and apprentices.
The building is expected to be completed by spring of 2005, and will open its doors for the school year that September.------------------------------------------- posted 6:35 AM :: reference link ::
