Charlotte nailing unlicensed crews By JAMIE MANFUSO, Sarasota Herald-Tribune
PORT CHARLOTTE -- Squinting through binoculars, state investigator Bill Colandrea spied a roofing company van with Iowa tags. Nearby, men were ripping shingles off a hurricane-damaged home.
The investigator headed over to nab the unlicensed contractors.
Since Hurricane Charley struck here, state investigators and Charlotte County code enforcement officers have been hunting for people doing jobs illegally.------------------------------------------- posted 6:51 AM :: reference link ::
