City reinspecting buildings BY CHERYL V. JACKSON, Chicago Sun Times
Last week, Andy Ryan, 19, and Kevin Sexton, 23 -- sons of Carpenters Union officials -- resigned their $49,548-a-year jobs as building inspectors after being accused of inflating their resumes, setting off a review of the 14 hires who joined the department along with them.
Earlier this week, David Marino, 49, resigned after officials sought to verify his claim he worked at one company for two years and found he'd worked there for two days.
All four were members of Carpenters Union Local 13, which Kaderbek on Thursday stripped of its power to vouch for its members.------------------------------------------- posted 6:57 AM :: reference link ::
