    Court punishes 3 union officials BY DAVID ASHENFELTER, Detroit Free Press
    Three tearful union officials were sentenced to probation Monday for their roles in using union business agents to erect the home of an official with the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters. Two of them will spend the first six months confined to their homes.
