    Tsunami disaster: International union movement mobilizes solidarity ICFTU Website
    In the wake of the massive tsunami disaster which has hit South and Southeast Asian countries on 26 December, the ICFTU has written to its affiliated and friendly organisations in the countries concerned, expressing its condolences, support and solidarity to trade unions, their members, families and communities.

    CAW Donates $150,000 To Canadian Red Cross For Tsunami Relief Canada NewsWire
    The Canadian Auto Workers union is donating $150,000 to the Canadian Red Cross for relief efforts in southern Asia after tens of thousands were killed and many, many more left homeless when the massive tsunami slammed into coastlines around the Indian Ocean.
