Shortage of Cdn. skilled trade workers: gov't CTV.ca
A shortage of skilled trades in Canada has companies turning to foreign workers.
If something doesn't change, CTV's Peter Murphy reports, Canada could be short a million workers in 10 years.
If it weren't for carpenters like Sewdayl Singh, from Guyana, the Millennium woodworking plant in Ajax, Ont. wouldn't have enough workers to function. He got the job after the company's management couldn't fill job positions with Canadians.------------------------------------------- posted 1:51 PM :: reference link ::
