Shipyard crane slices building, kills two men By Robert Aicardi, Braintree Forum, MA
"We had two recoveries to do," Kenny said. "Two teams were set up with a combination of Braintree firefighters and the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) Urban Rescue Team. The first team was assigned to the first victim, later identified as Mr. Munoz. It took from 90 minutes to two hours to recover his body. The second team had a very challenging task because the second victim, Mr. May, was further inside the building and still inside his vehicle, which had been used as a fuel supply truck. When the craneway collapsed into the truck, fuel splashed out of and spilled around the vehicle."

As a result, the rescuers couldn't use any cutting torches because of safety concerns.

"Battery operated tools were used," Kenny said. "This took quite some time: about four and a half hours."
