    Canadian Woman of Steel Elected to International Labor Body - USWA
    Canadian Steelworker Carol Landry has been elected to the executive committee of the International Metalworkers Federation ((IMF), a global union body representing more than 20 million workers in more than 200 unions worldwide.

    Landry, former president of the Steelworkers' Local 7619 (Highland Valley Copper) is a Vancouver-based staff representative, responsible for the union's education program in Western Canada.
