Local unions protest non-union work taking place at John Glenn High School - By Scott E. Pacheco, The Bay City Times, MI
A giant inflatable rat and neon orange protest signs greeted students, parents and employees at Bangor Township's John Glenn High School on Friday.

Members from several local unions were protesting the school district's decision to contract with non-union labor for various construction projects.

The union laborers planned to protest until noon to let residents know that their tax dollars are going to residents of other counties, said Willis Stuckey Jr., business agent and vice president of the Laborers' Local 1098 union.
