    Unions reach agreement - Ironwood Daily Globe, MI
    Upper Michigan construction workers and their employer contractors recently ratified five-year collective bargaining agreements that will have a positive effect on economic development across the Upper Peninsula. The five principal civil trades in the U.P. -- the Laborers Union, Carpenters and Millwrights, Bricklayers and Allied Crafts, Ironworkers, and Operating Engineers; along with the Sheet Metal Workers, recently concluded a historic agreement with the Michigan Chapter Associated General Contractors, Labor Relations Division.
