    Las Vegas SUN: McCarron easily wins vote to remain president of carpenters union - AP, Las Vegas SUN
    Douglas McCarron easily defeated a challenger in balloting Thursday to remain president of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters union for another five years.

    McCarron collected about 92 percent of the vote, outpolling Tom Lewandowski with 1,669 votes to 136, union officials said.
