Solidarity with Teachers - BC Carpenters Union
Do not cross picket lines.
B.C. teachers set to strike as labour board asked to rule walkout illegal - Macleans.ca
The teachers' walkout has the backing of the B.C. Federation of Labour.
Federation president Jim Sinclair said he expects union members to respect picket lines at B.C. schools, but he stopped short of talking about a general strike.
"I would expect that all of the workers who work in the public school system will in the great tradition of British Columbia respect those picket lines, including over 25,000 CUPE members, BCGEU members, operating engineers, carpenters and others will go out and respect that picket line."------------------------------------------- posted 8:07 AM :: reference link ::
