Crews line up to transform dream into reality - By R.J. COHN, Bonner County Daily Bee, Idaho
'It sounded pretty doable, except neither of us or probably any contractor has had to build a home from the foundation up in 106 hours straight,' said Pucci. 'It seemed a little challenging, but I had a feeling we could pull this off.'
Recruiting 30 electricians, 20 carpenters and a handful of plumbers, however, wasn't the hard part. Pucci knew people would jump at the chance to be a part a community project to help build a family a three-bedroom, three-bath, 3,000-square foot home at their Baldy Mountain Road property.
Pucci even lined up four master carpenters -- Dan Fogarty, Tony Haynes, Gary Steinway and Richard 'Doc Splinters' Miller -- to constantly work with show host Ty Pennington.
