Burnaby man dies first day on job - By Eva Salinas, Vancouver Sun
SURREY - WorkSafe BC is investigating the death of a 55-year-old Burnaby man on the first day of a construction job he had taken to earn some money for Christmas.

Lajos Feher, part of an excavation team installing a storm sewer in Surrey Friday afternoon, was in a trench when the wall gave way, trapping him underground.
