According to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Outlook Handbook, demand for carpenters is projected to be “excellent” over the next decade. The same goes for plumbers. Not enough young people are entering what can be a high-paying profession, so the job opportunities are there for the taking, according to the BLS.
