    Welder dumps day job to turn steel into art - Maurice Bridge, Vancouver Sun
    Titled Power and Authority, the sculpture boasts a nine-metre (30-foot) wingspan and a height of six metres (20 feet). Welded entirely from surgical-grade stainless steel, polished to a mirror finish, it weighs 2,132 kilograms (about 4,700 pounds).
