Builders, workers bracing for strike - By Jane M. Von Bergen, Philadelphia Inquirer
Edward Coryell, executive secretary of the Metropolitan Regional Council of Philadelphia and Vicinity, the union's lead negotiator, could not be reached for comment yesterday.
But a notice on the council's Web site said, 'The negotiating committee is very disgusted with the lack of progress... . At this time it looks like we will be on strike.'
The contractors' association, which negotiates on behalf of area building companies, has reminded its members not to make side agreements with unions if there is a strike.------------------------------------------- posted 6:47 AM :: reference link ::
