Change to Win Files Nationwide Unfair Labor Practice Charge on Behalf of Workers Unlawfully Disciplined in Connection With Ongoing Immigration Actions - PR Newswire
The charge, filed today, is designed to protect the rights of workers who may have been unlawfully fired or otherwise illegally treated by their employers because they participated in the immigration actions held on April 10, or participate in legitimate protests on May 1. Federal labor law guarantees workers the right to engage in 'protected concerted activity.
The CtW unfair labor practice charge asserts that federal law protects groups of workers who leave work to protest policies that adversely affect their employment conditions.------------------------------------------- posted 7:04 AM :: reference link ::
