    Alberta company fined for B.C. rail bridge deaths - United Transportation Union

    Fatalities net fines for local steel company - CP, Edmonton Sun,  Canada
    'There is no bridge in the world that's worth the loss of any human life,' Judge Daniel Steinberg told Ron Scott, president of Scott Steel Ltd., during sentencing.

    'There is never a time when a project is so important, that time is so short, where corners should be cut,' Steinberg said.
