Don't get hurt by using uninsured workers - By NOREEN SEEBACHER, The Journal News.com, NY
'As far as insurance is concerned, most homeowners don't usually ask that many questions,' said William Bosley, owner of La Bozz-2 Builders Corp. in Nyack.
That's a potentially expensive mistake, especially in New York state, where special laws affecting construction workers sometimes kick in against residential property owners. The laws can be especially troublesome if a homeowner illegally hires unlicensed workers and then manages and directs the project themselves.------------------------------------------- posted 7:24 AM :: reference link ::
