bc lrb Section 12 input - uncharted.ca forums
BCLRB complaint - a true story ..so far

Union Employee fired with 'just cause' during short term position. Employee had never worked this job designation before and it was normally held for special people.

No writeups, no warnings, no meetings with union or management before termination

The steward and another union member met him to dismiss him and when he objected, warned him not to grieve.

Union refused to meet to even discuss grievance.

Request for grievance denied by union, penalty imposed on employee/member

Union investigation comprised of several third party post dated letters from other members saying they heard that someone was upset about x/y/z. Just not upset enough to complain to management.. so the union guys complained for them.
