Day Laborer Network, Laborers' Union Vow to Help Thousands of California Residential Construction Workers Unite for Better Lives - PRNewswire
The Laborers' International Union and the National Day Laborer Organizing Network will hold a news conference for Los Angeles area news media at 1 p.m. Thursday, unveiling efforts to help California residential construction workers organize to improve their lives.
Tens of thousands of residential construction workers routinely face hazardous working conditions, substandard pay and job insecurity despite a booming construction market.
