    S.J. air controllers blame fatigue for near-collision - By Leslie Griffy, San Jose Mercury News, CA
    Controllers say they are too overworked to manage the turmoil of an airport undergoing a $1.8 billion makeover. And what they saw as a dire situation grew even worse recently when chemical fumes sickened three members of the 15-person controller crew, forcing them to miss many shifts over the past five weeks.
