While Ontario replaces its Alberta losses with new immigrants from outside the country, and B.C. breaks even on the interprovincial migration scales, the East Coast has so far been unable to replace the workers it has lost with newcomers from elsewhere.
The result is a twisted irony: where once Atlantic Canada was infamous for its scarcity of jobs, the region is now home to a growing list of businesses with job vacancies galore, for which workers can't be found.------------------------------------------- posted 9:06 AM :: reference link ::
