    Wild horse welfare inspires license plates - By TIM ANDERSON, Reno Gazette Journal, NV
    This year, four special plates were dropped, and eight groups vied for the four available spots. The state panel selected Horse Power, Friends of Red Rock Canyon, Nevada Carpenters Union Local 1977 and Douglas County Sheriff's Search and Rescue as replacements plates.
