'Unshackle Upstate' has wide-ranging agenda - The Business Review (Albany)
The business trade group Unshackle Upstate is calling for a series of legislative reforms that will help revitalize the region's lagging economy.
Among the priorities targeted for next year are business and personal tax relief, urban site and workforce development, issues involving energy policies, and the repeated call for an end to the state's "Scaffold Law."
The coalition, comprised of business lobbying groups, said it doubled in size in 2007 to more than 60 organizations representing more than 32,000 employers.------------------------------------------- posted 6:42 AM :: reference link ::
