Carpenters get hammered, then clubbed - Gary Post Tribune, IN
CROWN POINT -- Police arrested two men who battered each other with golf putters during a Carpenter's union golf outing Saturday at the Summer Tree golf course.
James Shudick, 38, of Crown Point, and Aaron Clemens, 23, reportedly came to blows after a heated verbal argument, witnesses said.
When police arrived, the men had been separated, but had cuts on their faces and their clothes were askew, police said. The men would not comment on what touched off the argument and refused to press charges against one another, and refused a portable breath test.
The pair were arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.------------------------------------------- posted 6:45 AM :: reference link ::
