    Lumber boss says no to senators VANCOUVER -- The head of a powerful U.S. lumber coalition has dismissed a bipartisan resolution from a group of U.S. senators who wish to restore free lumber trade between the United States and Canada.

    "This is irrelevant," said John Ragosta, the lawyer acting for the Washington-based U.S. Coalition for Fair Lumber Lumber Imports, which has the power to scuttle any deal to end the Canada-U.S. softwood lumber dispute.
