Teamsters Endorse Gephardt for President: No other presidential candidate has won a union endorsement so far. The AFL-CIO and its 65 member unions will meet next week in Chicago to begin their endorsement process.
Since taking office Bush has wooed leaders of the Teamsters and carpenters' unions in an effort to break the Democratic Party's stranglehold on labor.
