    WTO-Softwood Canada pleased with results in final WTO report on softwood duties By SANDRA CORDON

    OTTAWA (CP) - Canada again claimed victory in the latest of a series of rulings in the ongoing softwood lumber dispute, with the release Friday of a world trade body report that concludes the U.S. wrongly applied punishing duties on Canadian exports.

    The World Trade Organization ruled against Washington's harsh countervailing duties on softwood lumber from Canada in a report that sounded very similar to the findings of a recent NAFTA panel.
