    Ferry fixers' union votes to strike By Stuart Hunter and Lena Sin
    Unionized workers who maintain B.C. Ferries vessels voted overwhelmingly in favour of strike action yesterday to back their contract demands.

    Workers with the 175-member B.C. Ferry and Marine Worker's Union Local 8 voted 96 per cent in favour of striking in their bid to get a new contract with Deas Pacific Marine Inc.
